Ten Days to Build a Team

You're likely wondering how that could be possible! Over the past decade, I have worked with dozens of working teams, helping them to do just that... and I have discovered that organizations that make just a 10-day investment in their people enjoy improved employee satisfaction results as well as better financial business results.

In order to be successful, employees must be equipped with the tools and skills that they need... life isn't a movie—there's no "magic" solution to teambuilding. It is not sufficient to say, "Okay people, tomorrow we're going to start working as a team..." and expect it to happen just like that!

This is a 10-day investment over a 6 to 12 month period. Some of those days are spent in the classroom, providing you and the other employees with an opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes that are critical for success. Others are spent in the workplace coaching individuals and teams towards improvement. In between each learning event, you have the opportunity to apply your new skills, knowledge and attitudes in the real world—your workplace. And each time we reconvene, you will get a chance to celebrate your successes and share your on-going challenges.

The first day is comprised of several parts: a needs assessment to determine the gap between the current and the desired states of your team; a one-hour employee orientation session; and a pre and post-intervention analysis to determine the return on your investment (ROI).
